About Well Red: Second Story
The second Well Red location opened for business in a brand-new building last month. Like the original Well Red on Opelika Road in Auburn, this locally-owned shop is all about comfort. Visitors are treated to a carefully curated selection of books, paired with a pastry and coffee or wine.
In their own words, Well Red strives to “create a welcoming community space that serves as a hub for gathering, relaxation and growth.” And now they have three locations to serve book lovers, coffee fans, sweet tooths and wine connoisseurs!

First and foremost, each Well Red location is a comfortable coffee shop and bookstore that serves homemade, delicious pastries, wine and beer. This tradition has been established at the first location at 223 Opelika Road.
Another coffee shop in the Well Red family opened earlier this year. The Fox can be found in the old Coffee Cat location in downtown Auburn at 124 Tichenor Ave. Now Well Red: Second Story is open for business, with the addition of a drive-thru for customer convenience.
