Coming Up: Auburn’s Fall Sundown Concert Series

Auburn's fall sundown concert series

There’s always so much to look forward to during the fall season when you live in the Auburn-Opelika community. While many events have been canceled or limited in some way, one local family favorite event is back! Auburn’s Fall Sundown Concert Series at Kiesel Park presents the second free concert in a series of four this Thursday, Sept. 24.

Live Music at Sundown

The featured musical act for this Thursday is the Auburn Jazz Quartet with music starting at 6 p.m. This free, family-friendly event does require masks upon entering and exiting and anytime you leave your designated seating area, but otherwise, the usual fun and entertainment is expected.

The other dates and acts to note for Auburn’s Fall Concert Series include the following:

  • Thursday, October 1, DJ K. Cole
  • Thursday, October 8, H2O featuring a special mystery guest

Pack the House

For this evening full of good music and good fun, families are encouraged to load up the minivan with kids, pets (don’t forget the leash!), picnic baskets, blankets, and chairs. Since Auburn’s Fall Concert Series is always held at the beautiful Kiesel Park, located at 520 Chadwick Lane, there is plenty of space to safely spread out and enjoy a music-filled evening. To help with the social distancing requirements, designated seating areas for families and friend groups will be clearly marked.
