Oktoberfest is finally making its return to Auburn after two years! In its 11th year, this iconic craft beer festival hosts breweries from all over the country, provides lots of fun entertainment, and even holds multiple contests. The lineup for Auburn Oktoberfest 2022 is already filling up and is sure to bring a good time.

Auburn Oktoberfest 

Auburn’s Oktoberfest is one of the largest beer festivals in the Southeast. This festival hosts the best breweries from all over the country as well as homebrewers from all over central Alabama. These homebrewers come from far and wide to compete for the title of Oktoberfest’s best homebrewer.

Indulge yourself in the wonderful world of Oktoberfest by enjoying the taste of craft beer and participating in one of the many events that takes place. From the stein hoisting competition to the wiener dog races to the Mr. and Miss Oktoberfest competition and more, there’s a little something for everyone.

Worried you’ll miss a football game while enjoying this celebration? Don’t stress! You can catch all of the best college football games streaming live right at the festival! There is no shortage of entertainment here. With live streaming games and live music, the day is sure to be full of nonstop fun.

Ticket Information

There are two different types of tickets available: the “General Admission” and the “Eat, Drink, and Be German Package.”

General Admission

  • Pre-sale tickets are available from August 1 to September 31 for $60 per person.
  • Last-minute tickets are available from October 1 to 10 for $65 per person.

The Eat, Drink, and Be German Package

  • This package gets you one food ticket to be used at any food truck and an event T-shirt.
  • Pre-sale tickets are available from August 1 to September 31 for $85 per person.

There are also hotel packages available offered by The Hotel at Auburn University. These packages include overnight accommodations on Saturday night and one “Eat, Drink, & Be German” package. Note that when booking your hotel reservation, you must indicate how many guests are attending the event. If you only select one guest, then you will only receive one ticket. Oktoberfest also offers free entry to the festival to designated drivers with a paid ticket and two non-alcoholic tickets.

When and where

Auburn Oktoberfest 2022 is happening on Saturday, October 15, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at

Auburn University’s Ag Heritage Park. The park is located at 620 South Donahue Drive. Once you see the red barn, you’ve made it!
