Things just got “batter” on the Plains! Cookie dough lovers are jumping for joy thanks to Batter Cookie Dough Auburn, which opened earlier this month in The Bodegas at Midtown Auburn.

No longer do you have to hear the words, “It’s not safe to eat raw cookie dough.” Instead Batter Cookie Dough Auburn says there’s nothing “batter” than their edible cookie dough!
Apparently, cookie dough can be edible when it’s made without eggs and heat-treated flour. Launched in Atlanta in 2017, Batter Cookie Dough now has locations in Auburn as well as Columbus, Ga.
Besides offering up endless batter and doughilicous puns, expect the new dessert shop to sweeten your day with something specifically Auburn.
They created a unique specialty dough just for Tiger fans called “Aubie” with the help of their friends at Heidi’s Heavenly Cookies in Alpharetta! But that’s not all that’s on the menu.
The menu
For starters, guests will find more than a dozen delicious cookie dough flavors available. Think classics like chocolate chip and cookies n’ cream. Then take it up a notch with red velvet and bourbon brown sugar.
Plus, you can top your cookie dough with all kinds of extra flavor. We’re talking everything from sprinkles to M&M’s to fresh fruit.

You can find Batter Cookie Dough Auburn at 1188 Opelika Road Unit G Tuesday through Saturday from noon until 6 p.m. You can also find them on Facebook and Instagram as well.
